There’s been a 30% increase in Mental Health disorders as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Jack has chosen to partner with three charities to help with the mental wellbeing of those – young and old – all over the world.
Your support in helping Jack reach his €1million goal – a Euro for every metre climbed – is greatly valued.
Amna Refugee Healing Network was born in 2016 inside a tent in Idomeni, where some 13,000 refugees had become stranded at the border of Greece and North Macedonia. Its work there is ongoing; Jack has partnered with Amna with the aim of specifically supporting families impacted by recent tragic events in Ukraine.
Thousands of people have been displaced by the current humanitarian crisis evolving in Ukraine. Many families have been torn apart by a needless war. Amna’s vision is to offer non-clinical mental health support, tailored to the needs of displaced people and host communities, to foster community healing and to implant supportive measures that will stay with communities for as long as they are needed.
Outrist is an anti-racist cycling organisation which partners with schools, community partners, coaches, teams, and cyclists to advance more equitable, inclusive, and healthy futures for youth.
We believe that bicycles have the ability to improve the wellbeing of youth. Bicycles also bring opportunity, agency, freedom, and joy to those who have access to the power of two wheels. Outride is committed to breaking down barriers so that all kids have access to bikes and safe places to ride.
